More Highlights

2022 - 2018

MetaLab has helped some of the world’s coolest companies build products and services that are attractive, thoughtful, and enjoyable to use. Slack, Coinbase, TED, Apple, Disney, and Google, to name a few.

I spent nearly 4 years at MetaLab, learning from some of the best designers and leaders in the industry. I improved my skills across the board and deepened my knowledge greatly in UX design, research, and client relationships. Below are more work samples from my time there.

2017 - 2011

I began my design career at Chaotic Moon Studios in 2011. The company was small, scrappy, and an absolute roller coaster ride of an experience. During my first year as a designer, I found myself leading calls with top executives from BET, TNT, Microsoft, and more. I barely had any idea what I was doing but I was slinging pixels left and right in Photoshop and working with engineering teams to ship products out the door. Every week brought fresh challenges, but I relished the opportunity to learn and grow. While much of the work looks dated now, I'm still proud of what we accomplished there and like to show it off when I can.

Logo Design & Illustration

In addition to interface design, I thoroughly enjoy a good logo or illustration project. Although this type of work rarely presents itself in my day-to-day duties, I try to find time every now and then to keep my skills polished, and they are just plain fun!
